How do we pray? If we view prayer as "something we do", we might easily become bored with our prayer life! When we view prayer as our whole life, our very attitude towards being human, our reason of being, am endless world of possibilities begin to shape right before our eyes. Living prayer allows to sense God's grace as it is constantly flowing like a river nourishing us to co-create with God toward joy, peace and abundance.
We pray with words, in silence, with our imagination, our dreams, our memories... We pray as we wash dishes, do the laundry, taking a walk, playing with our chidlren... We pray with our heart and soul when we refuse to speak ill of someone who mistreated us... We pray for forgiveness... We pray when we pause in the thick of a hectic day to listen to our bodies, to re-center our energies, to remember who we are and whose we are, to acknowledge that we belong...
Prayer has no boundaries. Acts 17:28 declares, "For in God we live, move and have our being." When we attend to our moments, we attend to God. As we pray without ceasing, we come to realize an abiding sense that God is present with us in everything that is taking place in our lives.
